Recommended Cooking Methods
Because Ranch Steak is a lean cut, it is best cooked quickly over high heat and served medium-rare to medium.
- Grill: Cook over high heat for 4–5 minutes per side to an internal temperature of 130–140°F.
- Cast Iron Skillet: Sear over high heat for 3–4 minutes per side, then finish with butter, garlic, and fresh herbs.
- Marinate: Marinate for 2–8 hours before grilling to enhance tenderness and flavor.
- Rest: Let the steak rest for 5–10 minutes, then slice against the grain for the most tender bite.
